𝑰𝒇 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝒓𝒉𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒎, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒉𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒎? Just as we prioritize and respect our body's natural sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm), we should also acknowledge and respect the menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle impacts not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally, and socially. We need to create environments where people who have periods feel safe to share menstrual health concerns and receive support they need. As one founder raised, simply making accommodations are just not enough. We need to rethink how workplaces can adapt, considering about half of the people in them experience the impacts of the menstrual cycle. As leaders and changemakers, embracing our own body's needs and well-being empowers us to lead by example. Prioritizing our personal well-being is an investment that directly impacts the way we run our business. Thank you, Imaginable Impact, for hosting this much awaited #SalaSession that truly goes beyond just periods & productivity. #MenstrualHealthMatters #FoundersWellbeing
Sparking meaningful transformations to close gender gaps in startups and leadership | Co-Founder & CEO, Imaginable Impact and FoundHer
We finally broke our silence and created a safe space to talk about “periods and productivity.” Because why must menstruation—and women’s health and bodies in general—be taboo and almost never discussed properly? For many women, the sad reality is that we were not fully educated about how our bodies work. We just had to suck it up and “deal with” our periods once a month with products; try not to stain our clothes (because, oh the embarrassment!); be discreet even when there’s discomfort, pain, or outright debilitation; and still try to function 100%, like the rest of the world expected us to. The other reality is that, for women who are now in leadership roles, our periods and our bodies have a huge impact on how we work and lead. And for us to be more effective leaders of inclusive, compassionate, human-centered organizations, we first need to listen kindly to OUR OWN SELVES, our own bodies. 💗 We’re grateful to have had the space to do that at yesterday’s #SalaSession by Imaginable Impact. Two hours was clearly not enough to exchange stories about a topic so resonant to all of us, but it was a spark! We’re grateful to everyone who made this possible. Thank you, Square One Hospitality Concepts Inc., for hosting us at La Vie En Rose and serving delectable Lunes Everyday Dining dishes! Thank you, Kindred Health Inc., for being our Event Partner and supporting our work for women. Thank you, Camille Escudero, for being our conversation starter and for sharing your own story so openly and so vulnerably. 🤗 And thank you to our Sala Swag Partners for giving us reasons to celebrate and turn this into a Period Party! 🎉 I’m so excited to try really cool products and services from Lily of the Valley, COJO, Mediclick , Nala Woman, and Pure Culture — especially with my period coming up! This is how women lead and love: we show up and hold space for each other ❤️ Thank you to everyone who was there yesterday! I’m still on a high from the warm, fuzzy feeling of women sharing stories so openly with each other. 😊 Candice Quimpo Julia Coscolluela Jenny Yrasuegui Jessica de Mesa-Lim Erin Torrejon Eunice Merrera Tina Sabarre Maria Gaitanidou Stephanie Oller

Let's talk about the nixit brand. First, there are a LOT of reasons why I LOVE this brand. ✅ It's a product for women, founded by a woman ✅ Made in Canada 🍁 ✅ It addresses the excessive waste of traditional menstrual products ✅ They talk about women's health and menstruation in an honest way ✅ Their customer service is TOP NOTCH I recently tried Nixit and had a few struggles. I left a comment on one of their Facebook ads about said struggles. Not only did they reply to my comment (and every comment on the thread!), they sent me a DM to provide some additional resources and tips. This level of customer service made me feel like: ✅ I mattered as a customer ✅ They genuinely care about women's health and want to make the menstrual experience better ✅ I want to give this product another try ✅ I want to tell everyone about how awesome this brand is and recommend them! Great customer service turns regular customers into #BrandAdvocates, and companies should not underestimate the power of doing so. 🙌 Kudos to Nixit for crushing the #CustomeService game! #CanadianBrands #WomenOwned #NextLevel

It's fascinating how the "ideal body type" for women has evolved every couple of decades, constantly shifting in ways that often feel unattainable for most of us. Historically, this ideal has rarely been something realistic or achievable. But here's what truly makes me proud of us today: Women are saying, "I don't care about the number on the scale. I care about my body composition and how I feel in my own skin." BOOM! For far too long, we've been chained to a number, convinced it defines our worth or success. But now, more and more women are waking up to a healthier mindset. We want to feel empowered, look strong, and live in ways that nourish our unique selves. This is, hands down, the healthiest trend women have embraced in a long time—breaking free from outdated standards and choosing to prioritize what feels good, not just what looks good. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. On that note, I'm building a community of like-minded women who are ready to crush their fitness goals, share their challenges, and support each other. If you’re interested in joining this empowering space, drop a “GLOW” in the comments, and I’ll send you all the details! And, yes, it’s totally free to join! #health #fitness #mindset #womenshealth #womenshormones #bodytypeforwomen #community #healthylifestyle #lifestyle #womenempowerement

It's true, 48% of people say that a website's design and branding play a big role in their decision to partner with a business. If your digital home is feeling less-than-welcoming to your ideal clients, it might be time to make some changes. The best part of this is having a partner to navigate the process for you (like Wild Cabin!), and having one that's genuinely as excited as you are about the adventure.✨ Know a fellow woman entrepreneur who could use this?
