The objective is to transform SWBNO into a more efficient agency, operating cost-effectively and sustainably. Lovick's impressive background includes leading Entergy Corp's beneficial electrification programs and holding positions in energy efficiency, regulatory affairs, strategic planning, and utility planning. With a BS in Geology from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Tulane University, Lovick brings a diverse skill set to drive positive change. Agreements around construction management for the Green Plains Inc.’ Advantage Nebraska project were recently approved. Now that this step has occurred, the major equipment which will make it possible for the project to capture carbon from its Nebraska facilities has been ordered. Once the order arrives, the equipment will quickly be installed at the company’s Central City, Wood River and York, Nebraska locations. As well as this, the technology has been sized to accommodate the potential for post-combustion carbon capture and increased production. Altogether the facility will have an overall carbon capture capacity of an estimated 1.2 million tons. Nearly three years ago, I joined Cundall and started working with talented colleagues within the existing #powersystems team, which was previously embedded within our #datacentre specialist group, to elevate it to its own distinct discipline and business unit. We’ve grown and developed the team into a high-performing powerhouse, continually expanding and excelling. While a large portion of our #powersystems revenue still stems from our world-leading data centre team, we have also been nurturing and retaining wonderful clients within the #energysector. This launch marks what I call “Phase 2” of our master plan. I have always believed that having an established and reputable power systems team is crucial to unlocking the energy sector for Cundall.
