Every executive I've ever met loves to talk about the importance of #CX. But we all know the truth. For most of them, there is little meaning behind the lip service. It would take about five minutes of reviewing their Voice of Customer data (if they have any) to know how important it really is. So what's the difference between an executive who talks the CX game versus the few who own it? Patience and focus. You can look at the way the executive is speaking to their leaders right now and learn a lot. If they are asking "how do we generate more revenue in the first half of 2024", CX does not have much of a place in that conversation. But if they are asking more like the Jeanne Bliss question of "how can we earn the right to grow our customers as our greatest asset over time" you know you are in a good place.
