🔹 Helping Women Period: Based in East Lansing, MI, they supply menstrual health products to those in need. Volunteer, create discreet drawstring bags, or purchase merchandise to support their cause!
🔹 Dress for Success Worldwide, Based in NYC, helps empower women to overcome poverty by giving them network support, professional attire, and development tools so they can live and thrive in work. Host a fundraiser, volunteer, or attend their events!
🔹 Women Veterans Charities: Let’s also recognize the incredible contributions of women veterans. Organizations like Women Veterans ROCK! provide essential resources, advocacy, and camaraderie.
Remember, studies show that companies with gender diversity are more profitable, and peace agreements are more durable when women negotiate them. Let’s continue supporting women and girls locally and globally! 💙💜

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, we'd like to highlight a true female pioneer in the nonprofit sector of America - Isabella Marshall Graham. After leaving her home in Scotland to settle in New York City, Isabella led a group of women to found the Society for the Relief of Poor Widows with Small Children in 1797. The organization provided support to hundreds of needy widows. She then went on to become president of the board for the Magdalene House of the Magdalene Society, and also founded the the Society for the Promotion of Industry Among the Poor. Thank you, Isabella, for your contributions to philanthropy in America!
