Davos Alzheimer's Collaborative’s Post

The Davos Alzheimer's Collaborative kicked off #AAIC24 this morning with the DAC Healthcare System Preparedness Friends & Family Annual Breakfast. We were thrilled to be joined by so many of our collaborators from around the world to discuss our recent and upcoming healthcare system preparedness work. Here are some highlights of the event: 🧠 DAC #AccurateDiagnosis Program Lead Amy Deckert, PhD, and Karen Weyrauch provided an overview of our recently launched Accurate Diagnosis Program, happening in sites across Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, the U.K., and the U.S. 🧠 Our U.S. Fellowship Lead, Michael Hornbecker, gave an update on DAC's Fellowship Program to improve #earlydetection rates in primary care settings. The program will include seed funding, implementation coaching of the DAC Early Detection Blueprint, and participation in monthly Community of Practice meetings for up to 10 U.S. healthcare systems. 🧠 Phyllis Ferrell announced DAC's new U.S. Brain Health Navigator Program. DAC Healthcare System Preparedness will co-create and implement this program with six sites in the U.S. to help provide timely care for patients with cognitive decline.
