Here we are after the winter festivities, carrying news from Osttirol! RegionsManagement Osttirol RMO organized on 11 December in #Lienz the inaugural Living Lab event for #Osttirol, which was a resounding success. Among the various topics explored, we delved into potential Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) solutions tailored specifically for the Osttirol region. The conversation was dynamic, engaging, and offered valuable perspectives on how we can enhance transportation services to better serve our community. We examined good practices in Demand-Responsive Transport, looking at successful models, learning from best-case scenarios, and considering proven strategies that could be adapted to enhance our local transportation initiatives. In term of implementation, we explored innovative approaches, including the use of technology to optimise routes, improve accessibility for underserved areas, and foster community engagement to ensure the success and sustainability of proposed DRT solutions. November 3rd is #OneHealthDay ⚛️ The definition of the concept, established by #OHHLEP is as follows: One Health is an integrated, unifying approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals, and ecosystems. It recognizes the health of 🧍🏽♂️🧍🏿♀️humans, 🐓domestic and 🐒 wild animals, 🌿 plants, and the 🏞️wider environment (including ecosystems) are closely linked and interdependent. Across Greece we are experiencing one of the earliest harvests recorded in the last decades at least. One of the most eloquent examples is Naoussa in Northern Greece. Harvest kicked off 28 days earlier than last year. Are we going to witness handpicking Xinomavro in August or even in the first week of September? Today we picked the last grapes of international varieties at our Ktima (estate) in Naoussa. It took us 21 days. From now on it is all about Xinomavro.
