I show store leaders how they can get smarter in managing both - their store and their career with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and also make their life easier..
If you are a store manager, don't make this mistake.🙅♂️ . . . In every retail organization I worked in the past, I was always told, ‘If you want to grow, then prove yourself.’ My #1 mistake - I always said yes and continued to work hard only to realize that the bosses were never satisfied.😩 I don't blame them because the problem is I never asked them what they meant when they asked me to prove it. If you are a store manager and someone tells you to prove yourself, ❌ Don't mindlessly say yes ❌ Don't work hard without a clear purpose and goal ❌ Don't overcommit just for the sake of doing it Instead, do this👇🏻 ✅ Ask your boss about their top 3 expectations from you. ✅ Get clarity on how they will measure your success or failure as a store leader ✅ Ask their top 3 non-negotiables which they cannot compromise with These expectations, clarity, and non-negotiables are something you should stick to as long as you are reporting to that boss. That's one way to prove yourself. What do you say? Are there any other possible ways? Do share them in the comments! #storemanager #retailmanagement #proveyourself #storemanagement

Recruitment || Training || Consultancy || Sixty Eight People || Divisional Director - London || The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 || 🟡🔴/🟢🔵
BUT WHST DOES GOOD LOOK LIKE? 👀 There’s a myth that hospitality sales and marketing roles can’t be measured 📐, often rendering them the first ones out of a business should troubled times arise. 😱 These myths are strangely often perpetuated by businesses without any senior leadership positions with these categories. 🕵️ By not measuring your sales and marketing teams you are: 🧮 removing a key driving force behind your teams. Numbers mean a LOT to these guys, so if they can’t see those figures, they can’t gage if they are doing well or not. 🏆 likely withholding reward - how can you bonus, promote or even praise your teams if you don’t measure their success? 🏃♀️ at risk of losing the people who drive INCREMENTAL revenue to your venue. That means business that you wouldn’t otherwise get by simply opening the doors to a fully staffed venue. Operations do a brilliant job of delivering exceptional experiences, but there would me way less people to deliver to without sales and marketing. Have you ever worked with a target to strive towards?

Established Retail Regional Manager with proven results in sales and customer focus in top performing markets.
Let’s talk perspective and #teamwork! Did you know Winston Retail also does pop ups AND retail stores? The number one question I am always asked is what do you do?! My 10 year old smiled as I walked out of the house today in something other than my work from home uniform. From hospital stays, costco trips, school events and leadership I enjoy every.single.moment. In reality I do it all! ☺️ Chaos is my daily, but perspective and perseverance trump all. When you land a role at a company that trusts you to soar anything is possible! Throwing on my retail managment hat and heading to a store threw things back into perspective today. I am simply thankful. I wake up everyday and connect with humans on my team. I am trusted to make an impact as a people leader not a manager. At Winston there are no boundaries. We show up, work dang hard and never look back. Think about how you precive something… why was your day hard, and what could you have done differently? Someone struggling on your team, pick up a shift or find solution. Share your struggles because I assure you 3 other people have a similar story. At the end of the day, choose your hard. You have the power to change your future and the trajectory of your career! I empower everyone to do something kind and see what response you get. ✨ #wearewinston #crossfunctional #perspective #teamwork #filaretail #winstonretail #chooseyourhard #wearehiring #joinmyteam #leadership #regionalmanagement

🤦♀️ One of my best leadership fails happened when I first started at De Soi. We were preparing for launch, so I set up a sales email address. (Of course) I forgot about it right away. Three months later, I checked it and found hundreds of messages from major accounts wanting to carry our products! The lesson? Set up email forwarding. But also it taught me the value of having the right team in place. As a leader, you can't do everything yourself—building a strong team is crucial to growth (and minimizing slip-ups). And on that note!! We are currently #hiring for 2 critical Sales roles at De Soi Sparkling Non-Alcoholic Apéritif: ✨Director of Sales - East ✨Director of Sales - West Check out the JDs below to apply 👇👇

Chief Geek Carolinas & Georgia | Changing the Way the World Perceives Sales | Sales Geek will be YOUR Sales Director | Forever intermediate golfer | Ask about franchise opportunities in NC, SC, and GA!
So now you’re a manager. Most sales leaders are promoted because they were good at their jobs. However, there’s a world of difference between doing the job, and being in charge of the people doing the job. This is one of Simon Sinek’s core philosophies. In short, your role moves from being responsible for driving the numbers, to being responsible for building an environment where your team is put into the best position possible for them to do their jobs which is hitting the numbers. If you can answer yes to all these questions you will be on your way to being a respected leader, and not just a person with a title. *Are you providing an environment where people feel safe, trusted, and respected? *Are you giving all the credit to the team when things go well? *Are you taking full responsibility when things go poorly? *Does each member of your team feel like you place THEIR best interests first always? *Do you always do the right thing (have integrity) even if the impact may be detrimental to you? How did you handle your first promotion into the managerial ranks? I’d love to hear from you. #salesgeek #geeklife

This article is amazing. Being in a Corporate role, it can be difficult to explain the magnitude of your experience and the skill set you’re required to have for success. I miss retail, I miss the constant rush to give the best experience possible, but more than anything I miss the conncetions and development you help create for your team. I hope everyone reads this and understands the value of a retail leader. They most likely have the highest success in ambiguity and decision quality than any other candidate you’re looking at. #higherretailleaders #retailmanagement #grit

Retail leaders are gritty AF, and we wear that like a badge of honor. Don't dare tell us it can't be done because we'll figure out a way. We'll pick up packing tape, bend a paperclip, and make it work. We always do. #retail #leadership https://lnkd.in/gDcvdRXz

Exciting Leadership Opportunity at NorthStar Memorial Group! I'm usually not one to spotlight job listings in my role as a trainer & consultant in the cemetery sales industry, but NorthStar Memorial Group's Vice President of Sales position in the Red River region is an exception that deserves attention. It's a rare find to see a company like NorthStar Memorial Group that truly understands the essence of empowering leaders. Their focus on fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and cutting through bureaucracy in this role is commendable, especially in an industry where not all companies manage with such progressive ideals. The list of organizations that genuinely put these principles into practice is indeed short. NorthStar's commitment to growth goes beyond mere numbers. They prioritize customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of market needs, which is paramount for setting high standards in our industry. Requiring extensive experience in funeral and cemetery sales, this role is a testament to NorthStar's dedication to finding a leader adept in professional selling strategies and team motivation – skills that are crucial for success in this field. While I'm not in the market for a new position, I felt compelled to share this unique opportunity. It's a standout example of how a company can effectively combine innovative leadership with strategic growth, raising the bar in the funeral and cemetery sales industry. #LeadershipEmpowerment #EntrepreneurialSpirit #InnovativeManagement #ProgressiveLeadership #GrowthMindset #TeamManagement #FuneralAndCemeterySales #SalesLeadership #CareerOpportunities
