Why I Believe in Transforming Healthcare Contact Centers Sachin H. Jain, MD, MBA recently published a critique of centralized contact centers in healthcare. While he raises valid points, I want to share why I’m so passionate about this topic. Yes, I work in the contact center industry, but my beliefs stem from a deeply personal experience with my mom’s care. My mom, managing multiple chronic diseases, faced countless challenges coordinating her care. After a cortisone injection, her blood sugar spiked dangerously. My dad called her endocrinologist repeatedly, leaving voicemails that were never returned. Overwhelmed staff couldn’t keep up. Days later, my mom collapsed and spent five days in the ICU. This was preventable. 💯 That moment shifted my career to focus on making healthcare more coordinated, accessible, and patient-focused. The Truth About Centralized Contact Centers ✅ Centralization ≠ Outsourcing. None of my partners send jobs overseas. Centralization builds consistency, leverages technology, and empowers staff to focus on helping patients. ✅ It’s About Better Care.
