🇵🇱 TOP NEWS: Polish Ministry of Climate has published a new version of the regulation on maximum #energy prices at auctions for #offshorewind farms. The changes, resulting from an amendment to the so-called Offshore Act, introduce differentiation of support rates under 25-year strike price contracts depending on the location of the wind farms, with the aim of better matching support mechanisms to the costs of project implementation.

❇ Poland: On-shore wind scheduled to receive new development boost ❇ After months of expectations the Government finally triggered the formal path to liberalise the 10H distance law, which would improve the conditions for developing and constructing new on-shore wind projects. The rigorous proximity requirements, first introduced in 2016 and conditionally lifted in 2023, still block most of development required to reach the estimated 15.8 GW of on-shore wind capacity by 2030 (with over 10 GW connected so far). It is generally expected that the minimum distance of wind parks from buildings, including housing, will be reduced to 500 m, with additional optimisation of the zoning requirements and overall permitting lead times. 🔔 We'll keep you posted once details of the draft law become available. #10H #onshorewind #RES #energytransition #zoning #RESdevelopment

#Australiawind New offshore wind regulations in Australia come into force. The regulations set up a framework for offshore electricity projects to proceed in Australian Commonwealth waters. The 2024 amendments include requirements for: - management plans - a design notification scheme - financial security - safety and protection zones - work health and safety - record keeping - fees. These changes will support licence holders as they progress offshore wind projects now and into the future. https://lnkd.in/gr8qb4bK
