📢 Check out Key Findings from the 2023 Regional Assessment Report – Kosovo In 2023, the legal environment for CSOs remained largely unchanged from 2021, meeting most international standards for freedom of association, assembly, and expression. 📍 Only 15% of CSOs considered the provision of public funding to be transparent and fair, a slight improvement from 12% in 2021. 📍65% of CSOs applied for public funding in 2023, with 23% of unsuccessful applicants citing authorities' unwillingness to fund their target groups. 📍93.33% of CSOs reported having a governing body in place, and all surveyed CSOs possess a governing document, such as a statute, articles of association, or similar founding document.
