I LOVE this clip for so many reasons, both personally and professionally! It speaks to me. When describing the sheepdog, the father in the scene says that they "have an overpowering need to protect the flock," and "...they live to confront the wolf." I firmly believe that in our US healthcare system, we NEED more sheepdogs to rise up and protect the flock (everyday healthcare consumer). This does not have to be wholly adversarial or aggressive. There are many partners and vendors in the ecosystem (PBM's, TPA's, direct primary care providers, navigation/support tools and wellbeing vendors and others) who are shepherding the flock every single day. Are you working with them? Are you protecting your flock?
