Join the Digital Benefits Network, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the Center for Democracy & Technology on Thursday, August 1, from 2-4:30pm ET for a virtual workshop to inform our project, Digital Identity in Public Benefits Delivery! https://lnkd.in/gspuyPfN In June, NIST announced this new collaborative research project with the DBN and CDT to adapt NIST’s digital identity guidelines to support public benefits programs. Through this work, we aim to develop voluntary resources that help practitioners and public sector leaders evaluate what degree of authentication and identity proofing is needed for specific public benefits delivery contexts. https://lnkd.in/ei43RAD9 As we kickoff this project, we’re eager to gather input from core stakeholders across sectors to inform the focus and format of the resources we build together!
