I’m proud to share that Discovery Limited claimed two top accolades at this year’s Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards, at a ceremony in Lisbon showcasing the best insurance innovations across the globe. Discovery won Gold in the Global Innovator category, which recognises overall world leaders in insurance innovation, and also placed first in the Connected Ecosystems and Marketplaces category, for the new Discovery Health App and Health Ecosystem – a centralised digital hub for all healthcare needs. The global award's competition attracted more than 280 entries from 44 countries, with applicants ranging from new start-ups to the world’s largest financial institutions. Winners were selected across seven categories through a peer-based voting process combined with a panel of judges from leading global financial firms. At Discovery, innovation remains central to our business. We’ve been on a multi-decade journey of understanding how to incentivise people to change behaviour and become healthier, and in the process, offer them better financial services products. We are now focusing on hyper-personalising what we do, tailoring health pathways to offer people a healthier and better life. Discovery healthcare is really playing around with their clients,I Habe been going back an forth over 2 months with discovery for payment of my injection and over one and half month ago I submitted my dispute they are still going back an forth.Last week a consultant called me telling me he will escalate the matter an a week later still nothing from them. They think patients with medical problems must just siting around waiting for someone in their department to wake up from their sleep and finally do their job. It is pathetic how discovery is treating their chronic patient.THEN THE CONSULTANT TELLS ME MAYBE I SHOULD UPGRADE TO ANOTHER PLAN! FOR WHAT? FOR MORE HEADACHES FROM DISCOVERY FURTHER MORE IF IM STRUGGLING AFTER PAYING SO MUCH ALREADY AND TO NOT ABLE TO AFFORD MY INJECTION WHERE DO I GET THE FUNDS TO Upgrade FROM? ,I speak for my self but I'm sure there is over 100s of other patients in the same situation.DISCOVERY US A PATHETIC MEDICAL AID AND IM TALKING FROM EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.

Horror with Discovery part 3 after filling in a dispute "I am appalled and frustrated with the treatment I have received from Discovery in regards to my dispute. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, they continue to give me the runaround. The proposed solution is unacceptable, as it requires my client to pay for a medication she never initially needed, totaling R320, and an additional R600 for an injection. This is not a viable solution, especially since I was asked to adjust my current medication to accommodate the injection payment. I am shocked that Discovery, a reputable medical aid, would treat its clients in such a manner. I demand a more reasonable and client-centric approach to resolving this dispute." I would like to wonder if this kind of service is offered I can imagine the poor clients opening bank accounts with them please do not use discovery they make u run around in circles

Discovery Life is horrifying!!! Their service is appalling!!! Do not ever insure with them!!! It’s an absolute joke!!! Must be the worst service I have ever received. Cannot reach a manager, then systems are down - spoken to about 15 different people with one very small problem that could have easily been corrected. Stop advertising your nonsense. Put your customers first. Seriously disgusted and disappointed 👎🏼 Discovery Limited
