The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and DataDotOrg launched the #ArtificialIntelligence to Accelerate Inclusion Challenge (AI2AI Challenge), a global call for #AI solutions to accelerate inclusion and economic empowerment. The AI2AI Challenge will focus on inclusive growth, ensuring that the benefits of this rapidly advancing data technology extend to all segments of society. Organizations will be considered for their innovative AI solutions that have demonstrated success and are ready to scale with additional funding and technical assistance. The deadline for submissions is July 18, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. ET, after which a panel of distinguished expert judges bringing experience in AI at the frontier of social impact and industry will review submissions, with winners announced by early 2025. I was honored to join a conversation with the most accomplished visionary women to discuss AI for social good. It just made me realize that the world is changing maybe slower than what we would expect it to change but surely it is. I say that because it was an All Women Panel discussing AI for Social Good. Thanks Debbie Botha for moderating the discussion. I learnt how in academia AI can help some of the children with specific learning needs and Hanan Salam, PhD talked about creating a robot who can do this. Thanks Carolina Pinart, Ph.D. And Sol Rashidi for being such a great inspiration. We discussed how AI will become like internet. I recall when online banking was launched we used to have positions in banks called online banking product head. The job of this person was to think how to use the internet when it comes to banking? What products can be communicated online ? It was as simple as this. AI a beautiful buzzword now will also become like an internet. It will be part of our everyday lives and we will just use this technology multiple times a day embedded in different use cases without even thinking that this is AI. Exactly the way we use internet today! Women have a beautiful voice! They just need a beautiful appreciation when they use it. Tell any 12 year old girl you meet that she is already 1200 times smarter than what you were when you were 12. Has 1200 times more courage and that’s why she can be anything she wants to be. She can be a data scientist or an artist. The choice is hers but we have to choose to make them believe in their dreams through our words! #artificialintelligence #disruption #womenInAI
