Stadium resurfacing made easy and millimeter accurate if 8 simple steps can be followed: 1. Establish control points around the job site and tie them up with two Leica iCR80 total stations set up in the center 2. Enter the required milling design into Leica MCP80 on-machine computer 3. Set up the milling machine 4. Start milling with the drum positioned automatically reference to the digital design thanks to Leica robot targeted at the prism on the rooftop of the machine 5. Keep the dump truck in front of the milling machine to collect the milled material 6. First mill the track maintaining 0.8% slope to let the water flow, mill the outer edges of the track afterwards and finish by milling smaller stripes 7. Check the milling depth manually 8.     A very good showcase of the French sports diplomacy in action. Probably one of the few strategic European ones at the moment propelled to the forefront in the lead up to the #Olympic and #Paralympic Games in Paris this summer among other.
