🌐Today, on World Cancer Research Day, we want to highlight our contribution by sharing progress in the MyPath_EU project. 🌱The MyPath PROMs app is a new tool designed to help cancer patients communicate more effectively with their healthcare professionals, bringing the patient’s own voice more clearly into the process. Before each appointment, patients answer questions about their wellbeing and symptoms using a smartphone, computer, or tablet. ✍️This information helps healthcare staff prepare for consultations and track the patient’s progress, placing the patient at the centre of care planning. The app’s questions support evidence-based decision support, offering clinicians valuable and time-saving insights before the appointment. ❣️This allows clinicians to spend more time actively engaging with the patient during the consultation, discussing reported health concerns and collaboratively planning the path forward. #WCRD #MyPath #PatientCentredCare
