As I put together key data for our first ever monthly management meeting for Old Bond Store next week, I think it gives a good insight into how the world of work is changing at small business level. While turnover continues to rise steadily at 45% year on year as it has done since opening. From September; * Guests invites are way up. * Meetings bookings have grown dramatically. * Member event bookings are up. * Bar and food sales are up. * Event participation is really up. And speaking to the members they confirm the reasons behind the data. As small business owners, they need (and want to pay for) considerably less physical resource. This is unanimous. But when they need it, it has to be easy to use, high quality, include high levels of service, and be on demand. While there is still lots of discussion around the future of the 'office', I think day by day, as a team and business community, we are discovering a totally different requirement all together. As Henry Ford suggests brilliantly here, people don't always know what they want, until they benefit from it. And if you think if you think about any major shifts in consumption over recent times, this is so true. #obscommunity #oldbondstore #clubworking #southampton

Monthly Management Move: DECEMBER 📋Tenant Survey📋 Conduct annual tenant surveys for three reasons: 📏Measure Your Performance the Past Year: - The better you can identify your strengths and weaknesses as an individual and as a company, the better your knowledge will be on what you should do differently vs. what you should keep doing. 📈Benchmark Your Performance for Y-o-Y Comparisons and Trend Identification: - For this to be accurate and traceable, your questions each year must be the same, and your answer options must be consistent. - This will allow you to track if the changes you make year to year are improving your tenants’ experience. 🗣️Let Your Tenants Know Their Input Is Valued (Actions Speak Louder Than Words): - Tenant surveys are useless if you don’t implement tangible changes based on the feedback you receive. - If tenants don’t feel their input is valued, you will lose their trust, and they will probably stop giving you feedback altogether. #tenantsurvey #benchmarking #feedback
