The joke's on you! Often, Directors of Sales don't have good relationships with a DOS nearby, especially a different brand. Well, I represent Marriott, and I have not one but two amazing relationships with a DOS from Hyatt and one from Hilton!! Did I mention that we're all in the same comp set? Charleston is a growing market, and the honest truth is that we can't take it all, no matter how much we try. Here are three reasons why you should partner or have a great relationship with your neighbors. 🫱🏻🫲🏾 Collaborative Opportunities: Building a strong relationship with another DOS near your hotel opens the door to collaboration. By sharing insights, market trends, and strategies, you can collectively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities, benefiting both of your establishments. 📨 Referral Network: A positive relationship with a nearby DOS can lead to a mutually beneficial referral network. If one hotel is fully booked or doesn't meet a guest's specific needs, having a trusted connection nearby can result in referrals, enhancing guest satisfaction and fostering a sense of community within the local hospitality industry. 📈 Combined Marketing Efforts: Working closely with another DOS allows for the potential to pool resources for marketing efforts. Joint promotions, local events, or cross-promotions can amplify both hotels' visibility, attracting a broader audience and strengthening the overall hospitality presence in the area. So, what are you waiting for? Go say hello! #CharlestonGetaway #bookdirect

Stop paying a percentage to travel agencies and booking.com! Increase direct booking! We do not sell marketing posts, we fill hotel capacities!
ATTENTION! HOW TO SELL AND WHY YOU HAVE TO GIVE BIG DISCOUNTS TO SELL? Due to the many questions received so far about how to sell and why you have to give big discounts in sales, today we will deviate from the usual content about hotels. We will write about how to sell and how not to give big discounts. Why do you have to give big discounts? Can't you sell the product/service without lowering the price? Do you feel that clients do not respect you, that they lie to you, that they set conditions that you can not accept? They see you as their competition, you haven't shown them anything new, and you don't give them any value. If you want to avoid all these sales problems, you need to change your approach. People have a defense mechanism as soon as they feel that you want to sell them something, approach people differently and they will trust you. How to make a successful sale in 3 steps: 1. Start a conversation honestly without selling 2. Explain to clients that they have a problem 3. Offer a solution PLUS: WHEN YOU TALK TO THE DIRECTORS, YOU NEED TO HAVE CONFIDENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND A STRONG ATTITUDE, YOU NEED TO TAKE AN ATTITUDE OF EQUALITY WITH THE DIRECTORS. DIRECTORS ARE MOSTLY STRONG AND SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE, WHO ALSO RESPECT STRONG AND SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE AND LIKE TO COOPERATE WITH THEM. I hope it was useful to you, wish you a nice day! #sales #discount #discountoffer #howtosell #directors #hotelindustry #hotels #hotelmanagement #hotelleaders #hotelmarketing #hotelmanager #hotelowners #hotelmanagers #cooperation #hotelmanagers #hotel #hotels #hoteliers #luxuryhotels #leadinghotelsoftheworld #smallbusinesssuccess #smallbusinessowners #smallluxuryhotels #wellnessandspa #resorstsandspa

The Hilton Hotel Secret Sauce - A Blueprint for Sales Success. Imagine checking into a hotel and feeling like you're home, no matter where in the world you are. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, that's the magic of Hilton hotels. But how do they do it? What's their secret recipe for creating such unforgettable experiences? Did you know that Conrad Hilton, the mastermind behind the Hilton empire, didn't start with luxury? Nope, he began with a humble establishment for miners. But he didn't stop at mere renovations; he revolutionized the management policies, introducing the now-familiar star rating system. This innovation didn't just upgrade hotels; it transformed an entire industry. Hilton hotels are renowned for their exceptional loyalty program, Hilton Honors, which boasts over 100 million members worldwide. This program not only rewards frequent travelers but also enhances customer retention through personalized services and exclusive benefits. Another fascinating aspect of Hilton's success is their commitment to sustainability. Hilton was the first major hotel company to institute a comprehensive environmental and social impact strategy called "Travel with Purpose." This initiative aims to cut their environmental footprint in half and double their social impact investment by 2030. Moreover, Hilton's innovative use of technology sets them apart from the competition. They pioneered the Digital Key, allowing guests to check-in, choose their room, and unlock their door using their smartphone. This convenience has revolutionized the guest experience, making stays more seamless and personalized. My Big Takeaway: Hilton didn't become a hospitality giant overnight. It took vision, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. Similarly, in sales, having a well-defined system is key to success. Whether it's a meticulous lead generation process or a personalized customer journey, a solid sales system ensures consistency, efficiency, and, ultimately, growth. Attention hotel GMs and salespeople (or those with connections to them!): I need your help! I'm presenting to a group of hotel GMs and salespeople this fall and need your input! I have a quick 5 question survey. What do you get out of it? You have the option to include your email address to receive the results summary of both the GM and salesperson survey. With my personal connections that have already filled it out, there are some great insights! Pass this along to any hotel GMs/hotel salespeople you know (doesn't have to be DOS). Thanks in advance! #hotelgm #hotelmanagement #hotelsales #hoteldos #thankyou

Passionate & Self driven about*//CUSTOMER SERVICE//PUBLIC SPEAKING// *//SALES// *// MARKETING EXPERT//
As I gazed out the window of my office, I couldn't help but wonder if hotel sales was a dying art. I had heard whispers that the industry was shifting, that travelers were changing the way they booked and experienced hotels. But I knew better. I saw how the industry was evolving, how travelers were craving unique experiences and personalized touches. I adapted, focusing on experiential sales, digital marketing, and revenue management. One day, a potential client, a large corporate group, reached out to our hotel. They wanted something special, something that would wow their attendees. I saw an opportunity. I crafted a personalized package, complete with a private rooftop reception and customized catering. RICHARD AYITEY NII The client was impressed, and the deal was done. Our hotel had won the business, not just because of its rooms, but because of the experience I had created. As I left the office that evening, I smiled, knowing that hotel sales was far from dying. It was just transforming, like the industry itself. And I was ready for the challenge. #salesbussiness #strategy #Hotelsalesandmarketing #LinkedInads

I'm on the hunt for lead response legends. After shopping nearly 50 hotels to see how they’re currently handling meeting and event inquiries, I'm excited to share the results with you! This Denver boutique hotel wowed us with its sleek website and a super-fast response from their sales coordinator. 🏃♀️ However, when it took 6 days to get a proposal, I couldn’t help but ask—are they losing business by not moving faster? Check out the full breakdown below and let me know how you think they did! -- #hotel #sales #leadresponse
