Without our research less knowledge in the region about "How leadership, especially female leadership, contributes to responsible organization and sustainable development". The announced cuts to science by the Dutch government will have a major impact on our research. Without our research, no solutions to business, social, and institutional sustainable development is possible. We can't let that happen. Stop the cuts to science! Request 📢 Dear Indigenous brothers, sisters, and allies, Indigenous Peoples Leadership: How are we preparing our new Indigenous Leaders for the challenges (biodiversity loss, climate change, land dispossession, cultural assimilation, cultural appropriation, ecological crisis, etc.) they face or will face in the future? As part of my current efforts, I am conducting a comprehensive overview of existing leadership programs, both formal and informal, that offer opportunities for Indigenous youth at the local, regional, and global levels. If you have participated in a leadership program yourself or are aware of any such programs that focus on collective tenure, land governance, stewardship, and related areas, I kindly request you to share your knowledge and experiences. Your input will contribute to the compilation of a comprehensive list of available leadership opportunities for our Indigenous youth. Furthermore, it would be invaluable if you could highlight the specific types of leadership opportunities that our Indigenous youth leaders are involved in and identify any specific needs they may have. By doing so, we can better understand how to support and nurture the next generation of Indigenous youth leaders. You have various options to contribute to this initiative. You can leave a comment below, sharing your insights and recommendations. Alternatively, you can send me a direct message or email me at brijlal478@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for your time and contributions. Together, we can empower our Indigenous youth and foster their development as future leaders. #indigenousleadership #indigenousyouth #indigenousfuture #indigenouseducation

I had a fantastic time with the Futurelect team over the weekend. My friend, mentioned they’d be speaking on elements of public life, as a National Youth Council chairperson, and multi-sectoral leader regionally, and I asked if I could attend their lecture. I also got a chance to interact with the East Africa Public Leadership Programme fellows. 3 key things came up with that interaction; 1. No ask no get- I only got a chance to sit in that room because I asked whether the organizers would let me sit in on the lecture session. The result? I got that, and had the chance to listen in on their stump speeches and give feedback as a public speaking coach! 2. Access to information is an invaluable resource. - The conversations being had, led by the team at Futurelect catapults their fellows so far ahead the curve, that the average players in the political/ public service space cannot equally compete. 3. Document experiences(this one is for me too) - In a world of both showing and telling in the professional space, visibility is sometimes the price of admission for impact; so have someone take a picture/video of you while in your element(painstaking though it may be).
