As a lecturer in teacher education, I have often been asked two questions. 1. What do people need to do to be good teachers? 2. What is the best thing about teaching? Well, to be a great teacher, you have to care about your students and about how you will teach lessons even better next time. The best thing about teaching is the students. In my case, I love when students do something amazing. Luckily as a teacher, you get to feel this way often, especially with children because kids are amazing! Often!!! I challenge all educators to remember why you love your job. If you can’t remember, maybe it’s time to do something else because students notice. As educators and leaders, we have been entrusted with a holy responsibility. We are not teaching subjects; we are teaching lives. In every child who walks in through our doors is an unkickable potential—a potential to lead, inspire, and be a difference-maker. Our job is to make sure no student falls behind and nothing retards their growth. Through both discipline and compassion, their journey toward knowledge and self-realization shall be guided. Being Prefects of Student Formation, our roles do not end in the classroom. We have a big responsibility entrusted to us: making sure that each student receives holistic education, one that is going to care for the mind and the spirit. We are beckoned to establish an environment where discipline is not just enforced but understood and embraced as a path to self-improvement. We have to protect the integrity of their formation and ensure that nothing disrupts this progress; that every student is empowered to face the challenges of life with confidence and moral clarity. May we answer this noble call with deep commitment, knowing full well that the future we shall build in our classrooms and through our formation programs is what we shall see in our world. #PrefectofStudentFormation #BeingBeyondTeacher

As we progress…success is not based on the ability to adapt to change or be the front of change, but rather to assess the manner of which success will bring. We need to facilitate these matters and bind them. Materialize and sought them to all age groups. Educators are now off the board because of these triumphants! Our thoughts of persistence is so prevalent and well-versed. We need to afford to have better curriculums in the future of which education will uphold and update to our society/ knowledge. Self-advocacy and fundamental preparing is the prime principle in these preparations. Degree programs are activated when you find how to intiate and prepare on the actual basis or level in the process.

A Model for Great Teaching (via Cambridge International Education) Teaching should be a rewarding profession where teachers are empowered and supported to be the best creative professionals they can be. The overwhelming body of research finds that the most important factor in improving student outcomes is good teaching. Therefore, helping teachers become better is the most important responsibility we have as educational leaders, as it is the best way to help learners fulfil their potential. (Dr. Tristian Stobie) The Model for Great Teaching is a summary of the best available research evidence on the things teachers do, know, and believe that have the biggest impact on student learning. It serves to help teachers more easily make better decisions about what they can best do to improve the quality of their teaching. Cambridge Assessment has reviewed existing research studies and frameworks that are relevant to the components and routes to the improvement of teacher effectiveness. Their aim is to help teachers make better decisions about what they can best do to improve their effectiveness. Four priorities have been identified for teachers who want to help their students learn more: 1. Understand the content they are teaching and how it is learned 2. Create a supportive environment for learning 3. Manage the classroom to maximize the opportunity to learn 4. Present content, activities, and interactions that activate their students’ thinking Get your free PDF copy of the report here: https://lnkd.in/eMfUXwnt #cpd #teaching #teachingenglish #englishteacher #pedagogy #instructionaldesign
