That’s just one of the facts & figures featured in the third edition of The State of Flanders’ Startup Ecosystem report – out now. 😉     Based on Dealroom.co data, this report offers valuable insights into the trends and challenges facing Flanders’ startup ecosystem. 💡 Does a brilliant idea in a garage count, or must a startup incorporate to be recognized? 👉 Determining the number of startups in a country is no easy task! ⛏️ ⛏️ ⛏️ The challenge begins with the definition ⛏️ ⛏️ ⛏️ → What exactly is a startup? → Are they only tech companies, or can startups exist in other industries as well? → ... ⭐️ Even if we could agree on the answers, another challenge looms: startups pop up rapidly and disappear just as fast, making their total number a moving target. In countries with a less vibrant entrepreneurial culture, these shifts often fly under the radar. 🚀 According to Unicorn Underground (^UU), even Croatians struggle to agree on the number of active startups locally. It's an honour for COREangels Lisbon  to organize the 10th Investment Committee at the Beato Innovation District this Thursday 18st April, and contribute to continue to dynamizing the Lisbon startup ecosystem in the fantastic premises of Restaurante a Praça no Beato Praça next to Unicorn Factory Lisboa. Our group of multicultural angels (we are already 32) coming from six different countries will listen to three pitches from three great startups. It's a fact that Lisbon has the power to attract investors and entrepreneurs and become one of the best world spots to be a founder. Three more startups have the chance to be invested and supported by a great group of angels.
