Major Breakthrough in Sustainable Materials! Thrilled to announce a groundbreaking achievement in bio-composites! In collaboration with Dr. Stephen Clarke, Dr. Neil Trout, Sean Steed (CEO, Change Climate), and Sara Cole from <1.5degree, we've developed and rigorously tested Byoxy, available as a 99+% bio-based epoxy resin made by Change Climate. Shoutout to the Australian National University for confirming the bio-content. What's the game-changer? Our Byoxy bio-epoxy performs as well, if not better, than traditional epoxy resins! This has been validated by independent research from Deakin University’s Matt Jennings and team, who published a comparison with leading bisphenol-based resins. But the real breakthrough in sustainability? Byoxy is recyclable. We've successfully separated natural fibers like flax and hemp from bio-composites into reusable materials. Not only did the mechanical strength remain intact, but the compressive strength increased in some cases. This innovation could redefine sustainable manufacturing, moving us closer to a circular economy! Looking forward to the next steps. 💡♻️ #Sustainability #BioComposites #RecyclingInnovation #ClimateChangeAction #CircularEconomy
