Why donate to EEF when our schools are already excellent? Because your giving makes funding our excellent Eanes educators possible! Did you know that 58% of our Eanes ISD property taxes are sent to other school districts and charter schools? Your EEF donations pay for teacher and staff positions not fully funded by the state of Texas. Our incredible educators are vital to why our schools are so special! For the month of July, our Who I Am Foundation volunteers in #Albuquerque are hosting our 11th Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive to help children in need begin the school year with all of the tools they need for academic success. With so many uncertainties about how children will return to school and what the classroom will look like, they need your help more than ever. Families with children in K-12 spent a projected $519 per child on back-to-school needs last year. For families in low-income neighborhoods, the costs are simply not realistic. Donating new school supplies to children in disadvantaged communities will make an impact on their ability to begin the school year school-ready. Items we are collecting: -Pencils -Pens -Composition Books -Combination Locks -Scientific Calculators -5-Subject Notebooks -Tissues -Hand Sanitizer -Wet Wipes -Trapper Keepers -Colored Pencils -Markers -Protractors -Paint Sets -Glue Bottles -Notebook Paper -Highlighters -Scissors -Sharpeners -Pocket Folders To donate, simply comment below and we'll have a volunteer coordinate a donation pick up!! #TeamWhoIAm_Albuquerque

For most of us, it's probably not normal to spend our own money just to do our job. For teachers, unfortunately it is. Teachers spend an average of $860 out of pocket on school supplies each year so their students won’t go without. At AdoptAClassroom.org, we help teachers get the funding they need to equip students with essential learning tools and materials, without having to dig into their own pockets. If you’re interested in learning more about what we do or how you can help, visit us at https://lnkd.in/gTWVNK9c BONUS: This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. If you’d like to show your support for teachers with a donation, donations to AdoptAClassroom.org will be DOUBLED all week*, so your dollar will make an even bigger impact. This giving season, I want to feature my favorite program: MAKE THE MOVE TO SUPPORT LOCAL SCHOOLS 🍎 🚌 I donate $5,000 to your local Education Foundation when you buy or sell a home. I'm a long-time, active Foundation member. I know just how much our school districts rely on Foundation support to provide quality education. Funds raised provide additional teachers, specialists, programs, and tools that make our schools extraordinary places for learning. This benefits both homes values and school districts. A report by the National Bureau of Economic Research titled, “Using Market Valuation to Assess Public School Spending,” found that for every dollar spent on public schools in a community, home values increased by about $20. This increase directly translates to higher resale values. What is your favorite charitable organizations this season? Education unlocks potential, but financial barriers often block deserving students' paths—especially for first-generation and undocumented scholars. That's why we at Mission Graduates are proud to partner with the Mission Promise Neighborhood to provide critical support for students at John O'Connell High School. Our goal is to bridge the higher education gap. Even with traditional financial aid, students face tuition gaps, application fees, and technology costs. Undocumented students confront even greater hurdles as they don't qualify for government tuition assistance. Here's how you can make a difference: • Donate: Text MPNSF24 to 53-555 or visit givebutter.com/MPNSF24 to invest in their futures. • Volunteer: Let me know if you'd like to explore volunteering, including opportunities with scholarship selection. • Spread the Word: Share this post to raise awareness about #EducationEquity! #MissionGraduates #EducationEquity #UndocumentedStudents #FirstGeneration #CollegeAccess #SanFrancisco
This is how YOU can help Mission students get to college: The 9th annual Mission Promise Neighborhood Scholarship Fundraiser starts TODAY! For the past 9 years, Mission Promise Neighborhood (MPN) and Mission Graduates have teamed up to help college-bound seniors at John O'Connell High School reach the next step towards achieving their dreams with a college education. Today through May 15th, help us reach our goal of $10,000 to send our amazing Mission students to college. Donate by texting MPNSF24 to 53-555 or visiting givebutter.com/MPNSF24

Adams State University changes lives through access to high quality, affordable higher education. We are the state’s first HSI, and we are a majority minority institution. Furthermore, well over 50% of our students are first-gen. We serve the largest percentage of low-income students of any university in CO, and, according to the Chetty data, we do better than any other at moving those students up the income strata. For those who want to make a difference, donating is one way you can do just that: https://t.co/rlHlyu6Nw1
