Exciting news! I am thrilled to share that our article "The Simulated Physiological Oocyte Maturation (SPOM) System Enhances Cytoplasmic Maturation and Oocyte Competence in Cattle" has been published in Animals as part of the Special Issue Livestock Reproduction: Reproductive Technologies in Animal Science. A special thank you to everyone involved in this project - Micaela Navarro, MsC, PhD, Tomás Fanti, Magali Waremkraut, Francisco Guaimas, Adrian Mutto, and Carolina Bluguermann. Your dedication and expertise made this achievement possible. Our research focused on the impact of regulating cytoplasmic maturation on blastocyst production rate and quality. By culturing oocytes with cyclic adenosine monophosphate modulators, we observed a significant advancement in mitochondrial activity, resulting in a remarkable enhancement in blastocyst quality and production rate.
