For instance, women’s equal participation in formal education has improved reaching parity in several countries. In political leadership, women’s role has been growing Despite this, the norm regarding women making decisions on tree planting is still sticky, deriving its sustenance on another norm that privileges males over females on land inheritance and ownership.
