Businesses and entrepreneurs, registration is now open for the FREE Disruptive Technologies & Innovation SETU Industry Day, taking place Thursday February 1st in the South East Technological University (SETU) Arena, West Campus, Carriganore, Co. Waterford. Come to the event to meet the four SETU Gateways (ICS Technology Gateway at Walton Institute, PMBRC, SEAM, Design +), as well as South East Clusters, clients, advisors, funders and important collaborators to identify and discuss the exciting Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF), a €500 million fund established in 2018 under Project Ireland 2040. The purpose of the Fund is to drive collaboration between Ireland’s world-class research base and industry as well as facilitate enterprises to compete directly for funding in support of the development and adoption of these technologies and seeding a new wave of start-ups. The future of CleanTech in Italy is now! 🌱 In Q2 2024, €87 million was invested in Italy's CleanTech sector, surpassing investments in artificial intelligence and machine learning. "The clean energy revolution is no longer a distant dream - it's happening right here in Italy" commented Claudio Colombo, NextSTEP's Managing Director. Despite this significant growth, Italy still remains behind in terms of overall investments compared to other European countries. 💡Why is Italy still behind other European countries?
