Starting a new year will be meaningless, if our mindset is not changed. We will find ourselves in the corridors of doing the same things we were doing in 2023. We will fail the same way we failed in 2023. We will be trapped by the same trap that trapped us in 2023. We will be going around the way we did in 2023. For us to experience the power and inherit what 2024 has for us, we need to reflect on how we lived in 2023. What made us fail in that manner? Why didn't we reach our goal? Did we use all the potential and opportunities that God gave us to our own advantages? Were we fruitful and productive in fulfilling God's mandate upon our lives? Why did we fail?. Then as we are in this new year, we change our mind and reposition ourselves for our own good. For some of us, we need to change the way we perceive things. Disconnect ourselves from other friendships and association. Connect ourselves to the right people/association. Change the way we do other things. Embrace the new way of doing things and trust God for excellent results. Remember time is a precious gift from the Lord. He has given us another year so that we use it and be fruitful. Don't use time to rebel against God who is the owner of time. Don't use time to make others suffer, for what you sow, you shall reap. May the Lord God open our eyes and give us wisdom and understanding for us to be productive and fruitful in 2024. May the Love of the father, the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Fellowship of the Holy spirit be upon you all. From Pastor Dan

Repeat after me: "I will stay with Jesus, no matter what!"⁠ ⁠ When the going gets tough, remember who is in control. It is often in our weakest moments that we find our greatest strength. As a pastor or church leader, the journey of faith and leadership is riddled with challenges, but I want to encourage you to keep persevering.⁠ ⁠ Starting this journey does not ensure a smooth path, but it does guarantee divine guidance. There will be times when your hands feel heavy, and your knees grow weak, but remember that the same God who helped start this journey will help finish it. He will strengthen you and equip you with the fortitude to keep going forward.⁠ ⁠ Your commitment to stay with Jesus, no matter the circumstances, is a testament to your faith and determination. When you made the decision to lead and serve in God's kingdom, you stepped onto the battlefield between light and darkness. There will be times when darkness attempts to dim the light within you, but take heart in knowing that darkness will TRY, but it will not SUCCEED.⁠ ⁠ The challenges and trials you face are not indicative of being outside of God's plan; they are part of the journey. These moments reveal the weaknesses in your armor, allowing you to grow in faith and resilience. God uses every attack to strengthen you and show Himself powerful in your life.⁠ ⁠ While the battles may be fierce, you never fight alone. The Lord fights alongside you, and the outcome of the battle is in His hands. So walk with peace, knowing that your trust in Him will see you through.⁠ ⁠ Stay steadfast, encourage your congregation to hold fast, and keep the faith burning bright. The journey may be arduous, but the victory is assured. ““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 NIV God uses foresight that will always be greater than 20/20 hindsight, as humans you need the insight to understand the difference. Long-term success is always greater than short-term success. You cannot please God and man. The choice is always yours. Rewards vs consequences. You have to detox yourself daily from toxins that prevent you from walking in your purpose. Remember your purpose is why you were created. Note, that everything that tastes good is not good for you. Use God's Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, and Discernment for your actions and thoughts. Seek God FIRST, study His Word, pray, praise, worship, repent, listen, celebrate, meditate, observe, believe, ask, surrender, fellowship, forgive, give, and be grateful and obedient.

Today, let this truth guide our steps and thoughts, encouraging us to look for God in every moment, in every encounter. In the journey of our lives, the pursuit of God is the beacon that guides every moment, every challenge, and every joy. Jeremiah 29:13 extends an invitation to a purposeful exploration, promising that when we seek God wholeheartedly, we will indeed find Him. This pursuit is not about passive observation but about an active, fervent engagement that requires our complete focus and deepest longing. Imagine this pursuit not as a burdensome task but as the unfolding of a divine mystery, where each step brings us closer to the heart of God. It's in the quiet whispers of prayer, in the reflection of scripture, and in the beauty of creation that we find Him. This pursuit is as much about the journey as it is about the destination; it's about becoming more attuned to God's presence in the here and now, recognizing His fingerprints in every aspect of our existence. How often have you used a GPS and for some reason you end up not going the way it instructed. A few seconds or so later it redirects you, a new pathway is set, back heading in the right direction as the destination set. Reflect for moment today and think about how sometimes the journey in life hasn’t gone to plan. Did it all end in a final mess, or was there a time for redirecting, even reset. We know as Christian’s our final destination remains the same, Eternity. But remembering in our hearts that our God will redirect our paths, make them straight as only He can see what lies ahead. The book of Proverbs is full of wisdom. In Proverbs 3:5-6 it tells us “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” If you allow Him, He will be your GPS! Have you got a dream or goal or desire? Have you maybe thought you can never redirect the journey to head back into that direction? Let me encourage you to get back on the road. WHEN GOD IS IN YOUR BOAT A couple of times we have been faced with the issues of life. We run from pillar to post. Seeking help and redemption from where there is none. Life can be challenging and overwhelming at times, and it's easy to feel like you're in a tiny boat tossed around by a relentless ocean. But remember, you are not alone in that boat. Just as Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee, God has the power to bring peace to your life. When you invite Him into your boat; * You gain access to His immense power * You enjoy his unwavering presence, * You enjoy everlasting peace * Life becomes easy * The Warlord takes over your wars. * Outstanding miracles and testimonies abound * Your book of remembrance is opened. * You are victorious in all areas of your life So, the next time you feel overwhelmed, take a deep breath, let go of fear, and whisper a prayer. With God by your side, you can weather any storm and find calm in the midst of chaos. Psalm 23:1-2 "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters". This journey involves believing (through worship), belonging (through fellowship), and becoming (through discipleship). Every day Jesus wants you to become a little more like him: "You have begun to live the new life, in which you are being made new and are becoming like the One who made you." (Colossians 3:10) Today we're obsessed with speed, but God is more interested in strength and stability than swiftness. We want the quick fix, the shortcut, the on-the-spot solution. We want a sermon, a seminar, or an experience that will instantly resolve all problems, remove all temptation, and release us from all growing pains. But real maturity is never the result of a single experience, no matter how powerful or moving. Growth is gradual. The Bible says, "Our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him." (2 Corinthians 3:18b Msg) QUESTIONS: How is your journey going? Are you becoming more like Christ as each day goes by or are becoming more like the world? Today’s Good News 🙏🏽🙌🏽💃🏽 As we embark on a new day, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, as Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages us. In the race of life, we may encounter obstacles, uncertainties, and fears that threaten to overwhelm us. However, by keeping our focus on Jesus, we can find the strength and courage to overcome every challenge that comes our way. Let us cast aside the weight of fear and doubt that hinders us and run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Our faith serves as a powerful antidote to fear, empowering us to rise above our circumstances and press on toward the prize set before us. When we choose to trust in God's promises and rely on His unfailing love, we discover a peace that surpasses all understanding. Instead of allowing fear to dictate our actions, let us hold fast to our faith in God's faithfulness, knowing that He is always with us, guiding us through the valleys and leading us to triumph. Today, may we be reminded that our faith has the power to conquer fear. As we fix our eyes on Jesus and entrust our lives into His hands, let us embrace each new day with boldness and confidence. The Journey of life is a race, however one that must be ran with understanding; in this amazing race are two different destination_ the first_ that which can be achieved by human might, skill and knowledge; however on the other is that which can only be achieved as you follow God's leading: both most times promising to be noble however never at the same rate_ for how can a mortal man compare his earthly reward to an Eternal reward that not only begin in heaven but right here on the Earth. This truth I have learnt_ When God calls you: believe it, seek to understand that which He demand of you, give your best to it; do not feel bad if what He demand is 'All' of you_ for sometimes he does; trust His Promises to you_ If he ask the best of you; He will honour you to the same degree.
