I grew up and taught in small-town Indiana. I can't imagine the difference it would have made for me and my fellow students, or me, my colleagues, and students to have internationally trained #teachers on staff. Providing them a pathway back into their profession is critical to their #careeradvancement in the US, but perhaps even more valuable to us. Are there former teachers you could assist by sharing our free WES Career Pathways Tool? https://ow.ly/8ASL50QynNQ #CareerPathways #Immigrants

More teachers are quitting their jobs. 93% more vacancies exist in schools now compared to 2019. Even newly trained teachers are becoming demotivated. They're leaving for opportunities abroad... Because the UK system isn't taking care of them. A lack of staff... = overcrowded classrooms = crippling admin and student workloads = unhappy parents = disruptive learning environments = lower quality lesson plans Those who remain don't have the support they need. They don't know... Who to ask for help Where to get funding When things will change And then THEY get blamed for failing the students 🤦♀️ No one can grow a career in those conditions. Or retain a passion for education. #teachers
