The University of Montana Western Rodeo Team hosted its 54th Annual Montana Western Rodeo Banquet last month. The rodeo banquet is the primary fundraising event for student scholarships, facilitating essential practice opportunities, offsetting travel expenses, covering hotel accommodations, and supporting the Montana Western College rodeo in the fall. This year at the event, UMW Rodeo paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Benny and Rooster Reynolds, two of Dillon's most iconic rodeo heroes. Financing is a key issue for young housing cooperatives in Europe. In my talk I will discuss how European cooperatives like MOBA SCE, the Commoning Spaces Network, Living in Metropolis (LiM) or the European Ethical Bank initiative try to establish transnational financing instruments for community-led housing and beyond.
