🌟 Celebrating the Power of Representation! 🌈
Seeing a member of the #disabledcommunity take the main stage fills my heart with joy. Representation matters, and it has been a game-changer in my own journey. 🚀
My success truly started to accelerate after I became disabled in 2021. Since then, I've been on a profound road to acceptance and adapting to the accommodations I need as a hearing and physically impaired person. 🌍
However, this journey wasn't without its challenges. Over the past few years, as I grappled with worsening health, I faced the shadows of depression and suicidal ideation. Yet, every step of the way, I've worked towards defining my "new normal." If this is something you are experiencing, you are not alone. I hope sharing my story provides a testament to resilience and the transformative power of embracing our unique experiences.
The transformation has been incredible! ✨ Since 2021, I've had the honor of
delivering a TEDx Talk winning the 2023 The Stevie® Awards for 2023 Executive of the Year as #CEO of my AI Ethics consulting company AMP Solutions LLC, winning the Gold Viddy award for hosting Navigating Abroad, becoming a published #author, and stepping into the role of a professional #keynotespeaker. Learn more here: www.lisathee.com
My key themes revolve around Career Agility, inspired by my disability journey and book, "Go! Reboot Your Career in 90 Days," where I delve into the highs and lows of this transformative path at www.lisathee.com/go
Curious to learn more about my journey? 📘 I invite you to grab a copy of my book – a chronicle of triumph over adversity, a guide to rebooting your career, and a source of inspiration for navigating life's challenges. 🛒
As I reflect on my journey, I'm grateful for the inspirations that fueled my resilience. Shoutout to Keely Cat-Wells, Selma Blair, Wendy Turner-Williams and Emily Ladau for being role models of strength and courage.
🌟 Let's continue championing diversity and representation, paving the way for more voices to be heard and celebrated! 🌐

Sometimes people do not understand the impact they just made.

A paws-itive step in the right direction! #representationmatters because we tend to put people with #disabilities into silos, thinking that they are not a part of society, our communities, our companies, our families. We tend to think that those who are are the exceptions...unfortunately that is often the case because they are separated by human-made silos of policies, programs, products, and places that create barriers to access and limit their worlds and ours. That said, let's appreciate this first and use it as the start of a long path of #inclusion.
