Supporting those embracing permeable paving technologies and sustainable landscape products.

The goal of this New Jersey city is admirable. They are looking to reduce TSS by the use of LID and BMPs. Not only are they trying to reduce stormwater run off, they are also focused on improving the quality of the run off entering the catch basins. What are some of your new goals related to stormwater and stormwater run off? Do you think they are achievable? Do you think they will be supported by land owner? #lowimpact #stormwater #stormwatermanagement #flooding #rain #greeninfrastructure #sustainable #sustainability #permeable #permeablepavers https://lnkd.in/g7ESc8Yv

An excellent approach as stormwater runoff is contaminated with a whole assortment of pollutants. Planning, designing and installing site specific bio retention systems must be accompanied by a phytoremediation approach to the species one selects. If done thoughtfully, this combined strategy can greatly reduce the contaminants that would otherwise enter the catch basins unmitigated
