Recently, the RenoVue® Trocar with Integrated Lens Cleaning Technology independently developed by bluesail+ surgical successfully completed the enrollment of the last surgical case in the pre-market clinical trial. This clinical trial selected several tertiary hospitals in China, including the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital as clinical research centers. The trial plan adopts a prospective, multi-center, single-blind, randomized, parallel-controlled superiority trial design. By observing the clinical effect of RenoVue® for lens cleaning in laparoscopic surgery, and comparing its effectiveness with conventional lens cleaning methods (i.e. soaking in warm saline containing iodophor and then wiping with gauze).
