Come and find us in Sydney! Energy Dome’s journey keeps on going, this time, we’re in Australia where our delegate, Daniel O'Doherty, will attend the Australian Clean Energy Summit 2024, presented by Clean Energy Council. The event will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday, 16-17 July, at the International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney). We are eager to join industry leaders from all over the world as they shed light on the most pressing topics in clean energy, and talk about our solution and how the CO2 Battery is a unique and the real answer to some of the most pressing issues Australia faces in long-duration energy storage. We cannot wait to meet our fellow clean energy professionals at the conference and at the Gala Dinner! #EnergyDome #OurWorldCantWait #sustainability #longdurationenergystorage #innovation #CO2Battery #decarbonization #LDES #renewables

Europe is a world leader in #DistrictHeating, with about 12% of households connected to a network. But with ambitions to triple connections by 2030, Europe’s reliance on #FossilFuels poses a challenge. To cut emissions, improve air quality and keep energy bills at bay, it is imperative for countries to switch their district heating systems to renewable energy sources. Fortunately, communities looking to clean up their district heating networks have many public financing options to help with the transition. Our new brochure with CEE Bankwatch Network explores the best clean tech for district heating, featuring real-life success stories. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dvbtW6fr #BeyondFossilFuels

🌱🔌 For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a commitment that we as a company have to enter into. This is why sustainability is not just a word for us, but an essential part of our mission. We rely on renewable energies and invest in photovoltaic systems at our site in Vienna. 💡 We cover a large part of our energy demand with our own PV systems and the rest with green electricity. Our own PV system currently has a capacity of around 133 kWp. Did you know that when we expanded our PV system in 2011, we even had Vienna's largest in-house PV system in operation (at that time)? Together for a greener tomorrow. 💚 #TELE #yoursmartfactory #sustainability #sustainability #pv #solar

Issues of affordability and fairness have moved toward the center of debates about clean energy transitions in many countries However, It’s wrong to conclude that clean energy transitions will make energy less affordable According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), clean energy technologies are already the most affordable options for millions of people, especially over the long term. However, high upfront costs remain a key hurdle International Energy Agency (IEA)'s new special report, Strategies for Affordable and Fair Clean Energy Transitions, explores these challenges and how they might be addressed. https://t.co/1wIpXwFKir #cleanenery #energytransition #renewableenergy

Why are distribution grids so important in the energy transition and what are DSOs facing currently? Check out the video and come to the #PowerSummit24 to get to know more about our #Grids4Speed study!
Portugal is witnessing an accelerated energy transition. In the first trimester of 2024, 89% of all the electricity consumed was from renewable sources. But how will its distribution grid cope with such a growing capacity of clean electricity? Digitalisation and structural investments will be key. We asked our member of the Distribution & Market Facilitation Committee João Martins de Carvalho, Executive Board Member at E-REDES, to share what we need to achieve our decarbonisation goals 👇 At #PowerSummit24 next week, we will launch our #Grids4Speed study, which will highlight the common challenges across EU members and actions to take to ensure the distribution grid is ready to deliver the energy transition 👉 https://bit.ly/3TlMSqQ #energy #electricity #electrification #decarbonisation #energytransition

Today is the International Day of Clean Energy! January 26th was designated International Day of Clean Energy by the United Nations to raise awareness and inspire action towards a just and inclusive energy transition, shaping a greener world for future generations. Raising awareness of the work that must be done is an essential step in accelerating the transition, and days such as this create a platform to encourage discussion of how we can all contribute. Read what AREG chair, Jean Morrison MBE, had to say about the International Day of Clean Energy below.
