The long-awaited Green Economy Forum & Exhibition kicked off yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I am proud to be here, representing KN Energies alongside our business development team, with whom we traveled 8,472 km to attend this significant event. 🌎🌪️ For a rapidly growing economy like Vietnam, the energy transition is crucial. According to the PDP8 plan, Vietnam aims to increase LNG imports to supply around 15% of the country's total energy mix by 2030, playing a key role in addressing the country’s growing energy needs. 👀 We are here to share our vision for the future, highlighting LNG’s role as a transitional fuel toward sustainable energy and showcasing our progress in renewable projects and innovations. 💫 💭 "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Meaningful partnerships are essential for accelerating the global energy transition, and I look forward to exploring these possibilities with you. 🙏 #LNG #KNEnergies #EnergyTransition #NewEnergies

🤝VIETSTAR - SMU: JOINING FORCES TO DRIVE SUSTAINABLE INITIATIVES FOR THE ASEAN ENERGY TRANSITION. ✅One of the prominent initiatives in October was the workshop "𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐒𝐆 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?" Hosted at Fortuna Hotel in Hanoi on October 12th, the workshop was a great success, underscoring the significance of ESG investments in shaping the future of the energy sector in Vietnam and the ASEAN region. Through practical insights shared by global experts, the workshop provided a profound understanding of the indispensable role of ESG in the energy transition process. ✅The most important thing to implement sustainable initiatives for the energy sector is the shared vision between VietStar Training and Consulting JSC and Singapore Management University (SMU). That's why, at the end of the speech, Mr. Eddie Tritton - Executive Director ExD - SMU gave kind words to Ms. Mary Pham - CEO VIETSTAR. He highly appreciated her strategic vision and devotion to promoting sustainable energy development: “ 𝐼𝑛 𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝐼 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑑𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑑 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑟, 𝑉𝐼𝐸𝑇𝑆𝑇𝐴𝑅, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶𝐸𝑂 𝑀𝑠 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝑃ℎ𝑎𝑚. Yesterday, Keng Lin Lee 李庆仁, CEO of Cyan Renewables and Chair of the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA)'s Decarbonisation Committee, co-hosted an industry workshop alongside Innovation Norway. The session, titled "Innovations in Green and Sustainable Maritime Solutions," shed light on critical decarbonisation efforts within the maritime sector in both Singapore and Norway. The timely seminar served as a valuable platform to introduce the initiatives spearheaded by the SSA Decarbonisation Committee. The discussion also delved into Singapore's progress and challenges in decarbonisation, with a specific focus on alternative marine fuels like ammonia and methanol, alongside harbour craft decarbonisation technologies. As the Norwegian counterparts shared their own advancements and cutting-edge technologies in decarbonisation, the event fostered a vibrant exchange of knowledge between Singapore and Norway, thereby creating fertile ground for potential collaborations among industry players in both countries. A special thank you to H.E. Eivind S. Homme, Norway's Ambassador to Singapore, for gracing the event with his presence and delivering an insightful opening remark. Cyan Renewables fully appreciates such open dialogue and knowledge exchange within the maritime industry, as such collaborations are instrumental in achieving a cleaner and more sustainable future for our oceans. We look forward to joining more of such events that bring together industry leaders to share best practices and accelerate our progress towards net zero. #CyanViews #CyanEvents #OffshoreWind #MaritimeLeadership #MaritimeExcellence #MaritimeIndustry #GlobalMaritime #Shipping #ShippingIndustry #MaritimeSector #EnergyTransition #Sustainability #NetZero #RenewableEnergy #GreenEnergy #CleanEnergy #GreenFuel #MaritimeSG #Decarbonization #EnvironmentalResponsibility
