We are in the year 2035... Labels lead to enlightened energy choices. ⚡️ This interactive session transports you to 2035 and reveals the roadmap that played a key role in defining a European energy mix model and the associated financing mechanisms. Made possible by the Energy Model Canvas application, which integrates the specificities of projects and territories to select the most suitable energy for each use and territory, thus aligning investments with long-term profitability and decarbonization goals. Presented by: Alstom, ENGIE, MCA (Maritime Campus Antwerp), BrestPort, Brittany Ferries, TotalEnergies 👉 In 2024, decarbonizing freight transport was based on the ability to provide an energy source suited to each use and territory. This required substantial investments, profoundly changing the business models of multimodal hubs and mobilizing considerable financial resources. Significant CAPEX investments at the European level, while optimizing OPEX, was necessary to reduce carbon emissions. The central question was to offer the most optimal energy source, adapted to each use and territory.   By 2035, choosing a decarbonized mode of transport has never been easier… and more complicated. The proliferation of energy solutions, transportation modes, and the development of global trade force transport actors to continually balance between transportation costs, delivery times, and ecological impact. These sometimes difficult and conflicting choices are facilitated by a labeling principle that evaluates the carbon impact of goods in real-time. What a year… Top #TOTO (13+1) highlights of #2024 at FGSZ Földgázszállító Zrt.   1) Ensured smooth, safe, and stable #gastransportation during the year. Against preliminary expectations, 2024 #transmission volumes slightly exceeded the previous year’s amounts. 2) Continued #cooperation with partner #TSOs on the Vertical Corridor initiative and on regional #gasquality harmonization. 3) Further increase of firm capacities on two border points (SK, UA) in 2024. 4) Successful #auctions held, demonstrating continued market interest for natural gas in Hungary. 5) Growing #investments into the present and the future #naturalgas network – we increased our maintenance and sustain-CAPEX spendings. 6) Celebrated 10 years anniversary for RBP - Regional Booking Platform and launched improved functionality with new design. 7) FGSZ became a strategic investor of the domestic #gasexchange, Ceegex, getting involved in its further development. 8) Introduction of new digital solutions for both internal and external users. 9) Focused on #ESG efforts and accurate #sustainability reporting. 10) Expanded #methane leakage measurement, quantification, and elimination (#LDAQ) activities to country-wide #emission reduction operation. 11) Successful test runs of our first electric compressor turbine in Mosonmagyaróvár. 12) FGSZ became the provisional #HTNO of Hungary and member of pre-ENNOH, playing a central role in preparing ENNOH to build an efficient, cross-border #hydrogen #infrastructure in Europe. 13) Closed the first non-binding #biomethane market survey. 13+1) Completed a comprehensive restructuring and streamlining of FGSZ’s Technical Management and Operations division   These results could not have been achieved without dedicated, innovative and tenacious colleagues. The European Commission has approved the fourth Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) designed to support the development of 13 projects in seven countries. In its latest round, Hy2Move will be provided with up to €1.4bn ($1.52bn) in public funding from the participating Member States, which include France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Estonia, the Netherlands and Slovakia. H2 View understands this could leverage another €3.3bn in additional private funding. The initiative will involve 13 projects being developed by 11 different companies, including Air Products, Airbus, BMW, Evolution synergetique, Hydrogen de France, Tomark, Michelin, UFI, Neumann & Essar, Skeleton and Gen-Hy Cube. With over 200 partners, Hy2Move will build on previous hydrogen projects designed to implement hydrogen technology into the mobility and transportation sector. 📢 During the Forum Kazakhstan-Italy being held in Milan from 7 to 9 October, NEXTCHEM and KazMunayGas-Aero (KMG AERO) have signed an agreement to collaborate on advancing energy transition initiatives, leveraging on NEXTCHEM’s proprietary technology portfolio and process engineering capabilities. These initiatives aim at contributing to the decarbonization and upgrade of KAZAKHSTAN’s industry and assets, in particular for the production of sustainable aviation fuel and low-carbon hydrogen through CO2 capture, as well as for the implementation of circular solutions.
