Business Development & Account Management @ EG a brand of LexisNexis® Risk Solutions | Your trusted source of data and intelligence in the commercial real estate industry 🏢🏭🏗️🏚️🏨
Had a few messages in response to my recent video clip where I showcased the new and improved advanced market analytics on EG #Radius so thought I would keep the momentum going and share another one. In my latest video, I reveal how #realestate professionals can harness the full potential of EG #Radius to identify and track #permitteddevelopment schemes across any use-type. EG track applications across all planning authorities across the UK and in this example I show how powerful it can also be for the #residential markets, as well. Watch as I demonstrate filtering from UK-wide #planningschemes to pinpointing #newbuild or #changeofuse projects in #Berkshire. Click to see how EG #Radius can enhance your approach to residential #property #development. #RealEstate #PropertyDevelopment #EGRadius #Innovation

We Can Get to Zero with $100,000's Cost Savings and Added Value!!! Approximately eight states are planning or implementing zero energy residential building codes. Dozens more will be transitioning to the 2021 IECC which is equivalent to a zero energy ready enclosure (e.g., baseline for DOE Zero Energy Ready Home). And California is well underway with their new zero energy code impacting over 100,000 new homes built each year. We can see the future; the zero energy housing train has left the station. And you know what they say about the future. If you don’t adapt, you’ll be left behind. The good news is there are impressive opportunities to adapt today with $100,000’s of cost savings and added value getting to zero energy ready homes. I have detailed tabulations demonstrating what too many believe is not possible. The key is integrating comprehensive best practices for optimizing community, design, performance and quality. Yes, all these key homeowner user experiences are interrelated. We can no longer afford to ignore these opportunities as a massive attainability imperative sweeps across America. Welcome to Housing 2.0, a detailed framework for consistently delivering better zero energy ready homes at lower cost. In other words, a path to industry-leading user experience. And research shows user experience leading companies consistently outperform laggards by 3X both in financial return and resilience. Please join me as I present this unique program in Anaheim at the PCBC Conference on June 20 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and join us later in the day for a Housing 2.0 reception at 2:30 in the Terrace Meeting Room #264B. Congrats to everyone who got their MLI submissions in last night before the buzzer. As a reminder, CMHC modified their scoring criteria for the MLI select program. You can no longer get max points for energy efficiency (the preferred option). Now, buyers (and developers) will need to draw points from the other categories (affordability and accessibility). It becomes a lot harder to make the numbers work if you have to limit rental upside or widen hallways (for instance). Private buyers love(d) the program as it allows for: - 95% LTVs (in some cases) - 50 year amortizations, & - 1.1 DSCRs It will be interesting to see how folks navigate the change for the balance of the year. Note traditional CMHC financing is of course still a strong option.

In preparation for MEMS & Sensors Technical Congress 2024 at UCLA May 1-2, MSIG will be sharing the most popular presentations from MSTC 2023 on the MSIG Youtube channel. Before you watch the latest video, Solving the Problem of Internal and External Noise Impact on Testing High Sensitivity MEMS & Sensors, check out this conversation Tim Brosnihan had with the speaker, Nigel Beddoe, Cohu’s Director of Product Marketing – MEMS & Sensors: https://lnkd.in/g9upcjuY Tim: At MSTC 2023, you presented Cohu’s solution for MEMS testing in noisy environments. What’s the noisiest environment you’ve had to tackle? Nigel: At one customer location, the trim and form system was in the room next to the production floor. With the test floor already at 80dB noise level, the impact sound and floor vibration from the next room made it extremely challenging on previous generation equipment. Tim: What is the latest advancement in Cohu’s MEMS testing technology? Nigel: Cohu has reduced the system noise floor to such a level that we see no interference at the DUT from ambient or electrical noise and even heavy vibrations, which results in our ability to test MEMS at the highest levels and tightest tolerances. Tim: Mangosteen or Durian -- which do you prefer and why? Nigel: Well, both are quite pungent. But mangosteen doesn’t stay with you for the whole day, unlike durian, which makes you produce an odor that can only be likened to an unsanitized toilet bowl and keeps your friends away.😁 Tim: We’ll be sure not to serve either at MSTC 2024! With that in mind, please enjoy this video of Nigel’s talk from MSTC 2023 and plan to attend MSTC 2024 - https://lnkd.in/gwBZdV85
