Yesterday, our Innovation Specialist, Camila Betterelli Giuliano, PhD, and Project Leader, Alexander McMillan, were at the MFMET Workshop on Standardization of Test Methods in Microfluidics in Lisbon hosted by the Portuguese Institute for Quality - IPQ. 🤩 It was great to discuss with key stakeholders in the field about the next steps to make microfluidics more translatable across disciplines. 🤝 👉 From our side, we talked about our latest updates in user-friendly design and our next-generation flow sensor, Galileo. In November, we attended the iNEMI Sustainable Electronics Technology Integration Group (TIG) as they delved into the development of the Digital Product Passport (DPP). We had an insightful discussion – it was a great presentation!   During the TIG session, we had the privilege of hearing from Fraunhofer IZM who shed light on the significance of DPP and the groundbreaking work of CIRPASS. This group is diligently developing a pilot program and roadmap for DPP.   #Collaboration was a major theme of this event. Eduard Wagner from Fraunhofer IZM shared the team's goal: to provide an information architecture that determines the valuable knowledge within the value chain, enhancing communication and transparency. The Digital Product Passport isn't just a concept; it's a policy and technology initiative aimed at improving the communication of accurate information about the products we create and how they are made.   And for more information about the preparatory work of the DPP, check out the webinar organized by the European Commission.
