If we don’t approach the current challenges and opportunities facing health, care and wider society through the lens of community-led, neighbourhood-based responses, then we are destined to repeat failures of the past. That’s why we’re launching brand new research with NHS Confederation today. It explores why health and care services in the UK need to engage with communities – and how examples of community-led work, including in the Big Local programme, have the potential to change the way national health policy is delivered: https://lnkd.in/eqAkZYWA

On World Health Day, we recognize health as not merely a fundamental human right, but as the cornerstone of a flourishing society. Yet, a significant portion of the global population faces substantial barriers in accessing quality healthcare services. This disparity undermines not only individual well-being but also the collective potential for progress. We, therefore, advocate for a world where equitable access to healthcare is not a privilege reserved for the fortunate few, but a universally-recognized right. We urge a collective commitment to dismantle the systemic and logistical obstacles that impede healthcare access for many. By championing this cause, we pave the way for a future where individuals of all backgrounds have the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to a thriving global community. Let us join hands and elevate the imperative for #HealthForAll. #RatnamaniMetalsandTubes #WorldHealthDay #HealthcareEquity #GlobalHealth
