Health observance awareness months exist to draw attention to and spread awareness of important health topics that affect a great many of us. Awareness days and observance months mark opportunities for promoting fundraising efforts, highlighting the need for additional research, and communicating information about risk factors, signs, symptoms, and lifesaving screenings. In September we observe Suicide Prevention, Ovarian Cancer, and Prostate Cancer Awareness.
