When your personal values are aligned with those of your employer. It’s a match. Im happy that here in DHL Supply Chain we are clear about our approach towards LGBTQ+ communities. We promote the topics. We educate ourselves to be able to be inclusive, to make this company a better place for all of us. And to be able to provide our support. Empathy and respect are not a measurable KPI (although I am sure there are links to be measured), but they are key in shaping the culture.

Diversity is absolutely essential for developing strong teams, and high performing organisations that are robust, agile and innovative. Everybody should feel comfortable to be who they are in the workplace, and every workplace should make effort to ensure it is inclusive. Visibility is a key part of that.

Celebrating Pride Month helps LGBTQ+ identifying youth and adults feel safe and welcome within your home, school, Club or community. Plus, creating a safe place where people can be themselves benefits all – when people see others included, they are more likely to feel included, too. June is Pride Month, a month dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities across the world. This month, we stand proud and united to commemorate Pride Month, a celebration of love, diversity, acceptance, and self-expression. This is not just a time to acknowledge the struggles and victories of the LGBTQ+ community but also to reflect on the importance of creating a more inclusive and empathetic society. As we celebrate Pride, let us also remember the importance of allyship. Being an ally means supporting and standing up for the rights of those who identify as LGBTQ+. It means creating safe spaces at work and in our communities where everyone can be their authentic selves. It requires constant learning, understanding, and committing to equality and justice.
