Coverage stock Krakatoa Resources Limited (ASX: KTA) (initiation in June 2023) has released the results of a recent ground gravity survey completed around the Stone Tank prospect within its flagship Mt Clere Rare Earths Project, located on the north-western margins of the Yilgarn Craton in Western Australia, where significant new gravity anomalies have been defined. The survey data has defined several dense targets (note the geo is a Rolling Stones fan) within a large 5km complex within the Stone Tank prospect area that are interpreted as shallow potential intrusive bodies or alteration signatures associated with an intrusive system, such as carbonatite-hosted critical mineral alkaline systems. The two most prominent targets are sited on topographical low areas and subsequently under cover. Each gravity target is over 1km long, with the Jagger target being slightly wider. The Jagger target is associated with a coincident magnetic high anomaly, while the Richards target follows a structural feature with limited coincident magnetism. Planned auger and extended infill soil sampling program will be completed over the target areas, followed by possible reconnaissance drilling. #equities #ausbiz #rareearths #commodities #resources #exploration #mining

Pictured below is an example of what our post-drilling rehabilitation looks like. The small area covered by gravel, is where we used an air core drill to collect rocks and soil from metres below the surface. Once these samples are collected, they are sent off to be assayed for indicators of potential gold deposits. Once the drill program is complete, the holes are fully rehabilitated by back-filling, capping and grading the surface. Just like all those deaths we hear about people suffocating in collapsed sand pits, free flowing loose sand is a major geotechnical hazard for pit wall design. sadly, many geologists pay very little attention to what is happening in the regolith and focus on fresh rock lithology. Specimen of intersected collapse breccia whilst drilling a sediment hosted deposits on high-grade lead-silver mine located in the highly prospective Edmund Sedimentary Basin, in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. Dark chlorite alteration indicative of high temperature environment. Also present is jaspilite and/or haematite and barite alteration and traces of magnetite. No significant sulfidation observed. Clast dominated by angular-shaped barite, quartz-carbonate, feldspar?? and Jaspilite. #Exploration #Basemetals

Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) has identified two large #gold targets rated as high-priority for further exploration at the Side Well South prospect, part of the Side Well Project in Western Australia. These targets were identified in soil geochemistry sampling over the prospect and include a 2.4-kilometre-long Ironbark-style target with peak gold values of 75 parts per billion and a 1.4-kilometre-long bismuth-molybdenum anomaly. The second target is particularly interesting as it demonstrates the same pathfinder elements as the high-grade Mulga Bill prospect at Side Well, with bismuth soil assays returning results up to 475 times greater than background levels. Terra Metals Limited (ASX: #TM1) (“Terra” or “Company”) is pleased to announce further drilling results from the maiden wide-spaced reconnaissance drill program at its Dante Cu-Au-PGE project (“Dante Project”) in the West Musgrave region of Western Australia, including partial drill results from a further 10 drill holes the Dante Reefs discovery and a further 8 drill holes at the Cronus Prospect. Samples remain outstanding across mineralised zones for all 10 holes at Reef 1 South, which are expected to extend the reported basal layer and hanging wall mineralised zones in multiple holes. Managing Director and CEO, Mr Thomas Line, commented: “These results continue to showcase the scale of the Dante Reefs discovery. It’s extremely promising to see the same magmatic copper-PGE sulphide mineralisation already seen at Reef 1 North and Reef 2, at Reef 1 South, 11.2km along strike from the Reef 1 discovery. It is exciting to consider the scale and potential of other outcropping reefs and other interpreted under cover reefs across the Project which remain undrilled. Review of the geochemistry and relogging has indicated that parts of the mineralised zone, including parts of the basal layer were not sampled. The remainder of the interpreted mineralised zones across all 10 holes at Reef 1 South have now been submitted to the lab for assaying. Based on visual observations, several of the mineralised zones reported here are expected to be extended along with some possible new mineralised zones, when further results are received. Further results from Cronus prospect continue to support the prospectivity of the intrusion and its potential for large-scale copper-PGE sulphide discoveries. It’s such a large, mineralised intrusion and the geochemistry and stratigraphy is providing strong support and possible vectors for the development of higher-grade copper-PGE sulphides. We look forward to testing some of our developing models at Cronus using funding from the WA Government under the EIS."
