In an ideal world, where everything unfolds as expected, the roles of forecasters and economists might not seem as pivotal. However, the reality of the past two to three years starkly contradicts this notion. Building on our prior research 'Indonesia’s Yield Curve In 2024: Machine Learning & Dynamic Nelson Siegel (DNS) Model,' we further explored numerous scenarios using the Local-Projection method. Our analysis reaffirms the relevancy of our initial projection, a yield range of 6.6% to 6.9% for 2024, while also identifying a potential rise to as much as 7.2% under more adverse conditions, in line with the assumptions detailed in our study below. The term structure of the Yield Curve is one of the most essential tools in financial economics. All agents, both government and private firms, set them as a benchmark for implementing their policy and business decision, respectively. The yield curve can be one of the reasons for prosperous firms/countries or their declines (as evident in 2023) This paper aims to understand the characteristics of Indonesia’s government bond yield curve, to forecast the curve for 2024 and to assess its future trajectories/volatilities. It's divided into two parts: dissecting and predicting the yield curve (Economic Bulletin – Issue 44) and exploring its interaction with various shocks (Forthcoming). Based on two of our best-performing models, Indonesia’s government bond for 2-year maturity will hover around 5.7% to 6.4%, 5-year maturity at ±6.5%, and 10-year maturity at 6.6% - 6.9% Regular updates of these indices will be available at ifgprogress.id. In continuation of resent listed questions about Indonesia, and why Danish Companies are not more active, please find this report which list the regions macro economics: Indonesia, ASEAN's largest economy and population, ranks 7th in the 2025 Asia Manufacturing Index. The country demonstrates strength in several key areas, including having the lowest inflation rate among all the countries analyzed. Indonesia also performs well in terms of corporate tax rates, tax incentives for manufacturers, gas costs, and internet freedom. Additionally, Indonesia boasts a competitive average time for company setup, which makes it an attractive location for businesses seeking efficient market entry. However, one of the major hurdles for foreign direct investment (FDI) in Indonesia's manufacturing sector is the minimum registered capital requirement. Foreign-owned companies must have at least IDR 10 billion (approximately USD 640,000) in registered capital, a threshold that applies to service and trading companies as well, not just manufacturing. This high entry barrier filters out many small and medium-sized foreign enterprises, limiting the scope of foreign investment and making Indonesia more selective in accepting FDI compared to some of its regional peers

The discussion emphasized the increasing significance of data-driven decision-making in shaping Vietnam’s industries and encouraged students to consider business strategy and consulting careers.
