For decades, Poland has been cooperating with Great Britain on many economic and business levels. This cooperation is constantly developing and it is no wonder, because companies in Poland are experienced business partners in many different industries. The same applies to Polish cities, which are excellent locations for locating foreign direct investments. I remember taking part in business trips promoting Poland as a business location several times and it was a great opportunity to learn about the investment advantages of our country. There are never too many such meetings and you can't miss them. As Pro Progressio and FOCUS ON Business | media, we support business initiatives aimed at establishing cooperation and promoting Poland and Polish cities on the international stage. And now there is another opportunity! On November 12, the City of Katowice [Katowice City - live, work & invest], together with the Polish Embassy in London, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) - ZBH London and the PBLINK - Polish Business Link organization, are organizing the 6th British - Polish Technology Forum in London. As part of the event, the organizers will focus on building cooperation in the area of technology and MedTech among companies from Poland and Great Britain. Additionally, an investment component will be organized, within which the event Partners will present investment opportunities offered by the Silesian Voivodeship, the City of Katowice in support of the Katowice Special Economic Zone [Katowicka Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna S.A.]. Cooperation is the basis of sustainable economic growth. It starts with knowledge about other players in your proximity. If you are located in the Baltic Sea region here is an event that fosters just that.     Under the patronage of Minister-President Manuela Schwesig, the State Government of the federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will host the Baltic Sea Business Day on April 18 in the city Rostock, Germany. The conference is organized together with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: IHK zu Rostock, IHK zu Schwerin, IHK Neubrandenburg. Attendance is free of charge.   The event will assemble 400 company representatives and policymakers from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.   The conference will also host the German-Baltic Digital Summit focusing on digitalization. The event is organized in partnership with German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania (AHK). It will cover a session on digitalization, visits to companies in the IT-sector, B2B-talks, and opportunities to engage actively with top-level professionals of the German IT industry. The 7th edition of the Choose France summit, a true "show" bringing together the CEOs of the largest national companies around President Emmanuel Macron on May 13th, has become the cornerstone of this charm offensive. 📈 Beyond investment promises, the summit has become an #influential tool used by the French executive to project the image of a liberal and pro-business country, far from the clichés of a nation stifled by regulations and sprawling state control.
