What do Domino's Pizza and the American Red Cross have in common? Answer: They both have an app that tracks your orders/donations and updates you every step of the way - from start to finish that is eerily similar and, for some reason, addicting to track. I pass by Piedmont Hospital Marcus Heart and Vascular Center every day on my way home, and lately, I've wondered if I can donate blood there. I have donated to the American Red Cross before (and know there is a donation center around the corner from the hospital), but do hospitals accept blood donations regularly? And if not, why not? 🌟 Exciting News: Supporting Our Veterans 🌟 We are proud to announce our recent collaboration with Team #6 of Leadership Green Bay in their remarkable initiative alongside Veterans 1st of Northeast Wisconsin. Together, we are dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of veterans facing housing insecurity in our community.   🏡 The Vision: Creating a supportive community for our veterans, the project envisions the construction of 21 cottage homes and a Community Center. This initiative is not just about providing shelter but also about fostering a sense of belonging and support among those who served our country.   🛠 Our Contribution: To aid in the realization of this noble cause, our focus has been on fundraising efforts to construct a carriage house. This essential structure will serve as a central storage facility for tools and materials during the construction phase and later transition to a maintenance and storage hub for the residents and the community.   🤝 Why It Matters: By supporting this project, we're not only contributing to the physical structure of a community but also reinforcing the foundation of support and gratitude for our veterans.
