OUR GOAL @ Expedition Science We bring Researchers and Investors together. Getting scientists to the places they need to reach and giving investors powerful stories of real climate research projects that are delivering a genuine impact. Businesses are fed up of funding green initiatives that aren’t relatable, credible or real. That's where we come in. ➡ We work with world-leading climate academics and researchers to find credible academics projects that are delivering genuine science. ➡ We find investors who want to make their green investments work harder for them. ➡ We document the research, go behind the scenes and tell inspiring climate stories for the world to know and share. _________________________ FOLLOW US as our journey begins! #expeditionscience #climateresearch #makingsciencehappen

Climate change communication must be distinct and separate from science communication. Communicating climate change often involves more than just conveying scientific facts and data. It [climate change] is a complex, multifaceted issue and involves not only scientific concepts but also social, economic, political, and ethical considerations. Communicating climate change requires addressing uncertainties, acknowledging diverse perspectives, and navigating complexities beyond the scope of traditional science communication. While climate change communication may require distinct approaches compared to science communication, it is essential to recognize the interconnectedness between the two domains. Climate communication should be informed by scientific evidence and expertise while also integrating insights from communication research, social sciences, humanities, and other disciplines to effectively engage diverse audiences and foster meaningful dialogue and action on this critical issue. Congratulations to the new breed of young climate journalists as you conclude your #NextGen Climate Fellowship with "Writing the Story of Our Generation.” WATCH: https://lnkd.in/gtSDKXu6

I am happy to share that my 1st PhD paper, titled Assesment of Global state of Climate-induced Loss and Damage Research - A systematic review, has been accepted. This review aims to shed light on the evolving landscape of loss and damage, as many communities are increasingly facing irreversible climate impacts that surpass the capacities of mitigation and adaptation efforts so as to generate relevant insights that can inform interventions for safeguarding vulnerable populations. I am excited😊 #lossanddamage #limitstoadaptation #systematicreview
