I am looking forward to the upcoming German Canadian Concourse – in Berlin and Montréal. #ArtificialIntelligence is a strategic competency for technological leadership. #AI is in an acceleration phase worldwide and across technological disciplines. The #GCC aims to be at the forefront of an emerging innovative development and to reflect the German-Canadian context. The topic of the #GCC2023 has therefore been chosen deliberately to pave the way for cooperation between #Canada and #Germany in an evolving field of AI – #Aerospace. The #Transatlantic Symposium on November 30th will discuss how German-Canadian collaboration can accelerate the implementation of AI in Aerospace. The GCC is addressing corporations, research orginizations and start-ups who want to expand their AI- and Aerospace-related activities across the Atlantic.

As you may know, 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 has become one of the main concerns in the EU in the past years following the war in Ukraine. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of NATO ‘s establishment, the SIOI - Società Italiana per l'Organizzazione Internazionale convened an academic gathering on 🗓️ April 15th and 16th in Rome, dedicated to examining the critical issues facing the organization. I had the privilege to attend this conference, where distinguished national and international speakers delved into global challenges. The conference was opened by both the President of SIOI, Ambassador Riccardo Sessa, and the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, lending the event significant institutional relevance. The conference served as a significant platform for dialogue and knowledge sharing, underscoring the need for multilateral collaboration to address emerging challenges in the #globalcontext. #MSPO in Kielce has come to an end! 🇩🇰 The team at the Royal Danish Embassy would like to convey a big thank you to all the participants and everybody involved in the Danish representation at MSPO in Kielce this year. A Danish Pavilion with 17 Danish companies as well as high-level representation from DALO marks an important milestone in strengthening the industrial and defence business-related cooperation between Denmark and Poland. Thank you very much for that! This year’s 31st edition of MSPO was the largest ever with more than 700 companies from 35 countries participating. During the first day of MSPO, the Polish Minister of Defence signed Defence Acquisition Contracts for 113 billion PLN (app. 180 mia. DKK). More is yet to come. The deteriorated security situation in Europe and the war in Ukraine remain drivers of these decisions. There is a reason to believe that next year’s MSPO will be even bigger! Today marks the end of this year’s fair. However, it also marks the beginning of a further exploration of business opportunities for Danish Defence Industry companies in Poland and in the region.
