Imagine if Libya had a proper government in control of these mine sites. The potential outcome could be extraordinary, especially with major companies like Rio Tinto, bhp and other investment firms entering the country. We wouldn't have to rely solely on oil and gas; in fact, they might become the least significant part of our income. And gold is just what we know of so far. There's also a high potential for iron ore in regions like garyan and Jebel Nafusa. The possibilities are endless for Libya's future with a proper government!

Kalanja Mountains. The LNA continues fighting in the Kalanja Mountains for the third day. The Kalanja Mountains, located in the southeast of Libya, are well known for their gold mines and other resources. These mines are controlled by Libyan and Chadian Tubu, who extract gold and sell it either as pure or impure gold. The mine owners sell this gold in two ways: either on-site or by sending it to Zliten, where the main buyers are located. This is a significant move by the LNA. If the LNA gains control of the Kalanja Mountains, it will boost their resources but also cut the Tubu out of business.
