Every year, #Monaco attracts globally significant sporting events, with the #GrandPrix being a standout. The economic and media impact is tremendous. Here's a look at the key figures - l'Observateur de Monaco: 1- Visitor Surge: Over four days, Monaco welcomes between 200,000 and 300,000 visitors, drawn not only by the race but also by the festive atmosphere. The event's glamour is heightened by the presence of international celebrities and significantly increased helicopter traffic 2- Massive Organization: Organizing the Grand Prix requires nearly 3,000 people, including 750 track marshals and 700 security controllers. Additionally, 60 companies and about 200 workers are involved in setting up the grandstands and safety features, such as 22 kilometers of safety rails and 20,000 m² of fencing 3- Global Audience: The Grand Prix is broadcast in 80 countries, attracting a billion viewers and extensive media coverage, which boosts Monaco’s tourism profile 4- Hotel Boom: In May, hotel prices surge to over four times the annual average due to the Grand Prix. The folks who own F1 are basically like: Your guests will be seeing the race, so you've got to pay up. They ask hotels and clubs to pay $1500 for every person they host during the race. So if a restaurant has a capacity of 1000 people, they will have to shell out 1.5 Million dollars as licensing fees. Even if only 500 people show up. If they don't comply F1 might block their view with ads or lights or basically tall structures. Basically ruining their guest's experience. Everyone is obviously hating it. It is after all a street race being held in public. The hype around the first #Formula1 Grand Prix race #LasVegas has seen in 40 years is starting to fade, and hotel room prices are dropping precipitously as a result. With the #F1 championship already wrapped up by driver #MaxVerstappen this year, interest around the November 19 event on the #Vegas strip has dwindled. The average hotel room price is around $283 a night, according to KAYAK data cited in a CNN report — down nearly 25% from a month ago. Ticket prices for the event have swooned too. The average “get-in” price for the race has fallen from $1,645 to $1,060 for grandstand seating, according to data from TickPick. Another factor sinking enthusiasm could be the effect of construction on the Vegas strip. Notably, the Bellagio fountain has been turned off and Mirage’s signature volcano is closed. #UHNWI & their experience attending worldwide sport events. Let me focus today about last week Formula 1 held an exciting event in #LasVegas, which perfectly combines #sport and show business. Some data: 🛩 Las Vegas hosted around 400 private jets for the Formula One Grand Prix weekend from November 16 to 18, 2023. This is a significant increase from the usual number of private jets that arrive in Las Vegas on any given weekend. 💎 The influx of private jets is due to the high demand for transportation to and from the race, as well as the desire of many Formula One fans to experience the race in style. 👩💻 To accommodate the surge in private jet traffic, the Clark County Department of Aviation has expanded the capacity of Harry Reid International Airport, Henderson Executive Airport and North Las Vegas Airport. The department has also worked with private jet operators to ensure that there is adequate parking and fuel available for all of the aircraft. 💡 Private Jet Airports in Las Vegas: 1.
