Transforming Facilities Management with 29+ Years of Asset, Real Estate Operations and Business Development Expertise
In the recent announcement of IFMA's new global board of directors, it’s interesting to note the geographic distribution of representation. Out of the 12 members, 6 are from the USA, and 9 are from the Americas, leaving Europe represented by two members and one from Asia. Unfortunately, there is no representation from Australia, South America, Africa, or the Middle East. This composition reflects IFMA's longstanding focus on the American market, despite their efforts to globalize. Even their CFM certification seems primarily designed around the American context, which raises questions about the "global" nature of the board. For IFMA to truly embody a global presence, it should strive for a more inclusive and diverse representation across all continents. Expanding their reach and influence will better reflect the international community they aim to serve. #IFMA #FacilityManagement #GlobalLeadership #DiversityAndInclusion #ConstructiveCriticism

So, this happened!!! 🎉 I’ve been shortlisted for the Leadership in Safety and Wellbeing Award for Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) awards 2024! 🙌 This recognition means so much to me. The journey over the past four years, building Holistic Growth Solutions and launching the Holistic Growth Hub, has been transformative—shaping how businesses approach psychosocial safety and wellbeing in the Facilities Management industry. For me, this is more than just work—it’s a personal passion. 🌱 Advocating for mental health and wellbeing in this sector has had its challenges, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. Seeing the positive change in this industry keeps me motivated every day. The Holistic Growth Hub provides a clear psychosocial framework, focusing on leadership, mental health, and team wellbeing. We help businesses embed wellbeing as a core value, creating workplaces where people feel genuinely supported, safe, and empowered. 💚 Holistic Growth Solutions will have a table at the event, and we are looking forward to celebrating with our amazing clients! 💥 A big shoutout to my fellow finalists—each of us is making an impact in this space, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you all on awards night!
