This means absolutely nothing to anybody.
These are my original jump wings awarded at graduation of Airbone school.
It’s definitely a “nobody cares” kind of achievement… I get that.
But 14 years ago this month it was the biggest achievement of my life.
It was the type of opportunity that would only come around once, and you either seize the moment or watch that dream fade into the abyss.
Not to mention, it’s the kind of school that drops you QUICK for the smallest of reasons. Hesitation on your first jump? Dropped. You get the point.
You really only get one chance (unless your in an Airbone unit, they might hook you up again)
Honestly, it wasn’t the hardest thing I’ve ever done: a lot of running, pull-ups and push-ups, etc., but it was something I wanted so bad that I refused to let anything get in the way.
That meant dialing in, staying focused on the goal, and trusting the process. Which, when jumping out of an airplane can be a tall order 😅
(Did I mention I have a fear of heights?)
Anyways…
I guess where I’m going with this: Only you know what lengths you’re willing to go for the right opportunity.
That opportunity might only come around once, and when it does…
Are you gonna be ready to seize the moment to get what you want?
You can’t reach your goals without reaching first.
